Maybe not on the beach, but I would never do that because of the occasional large wave.Ī little North of the Sixes River there's an airport. There's some beach you can camp on between Cape Blanco and Bandon. They do allow physical walking on the beaches, right? (jk) Oh, and we have a small dog to bring with us also.īut I know there HAS to be some super secret backpacking spots to find and has been no help either. Ultimately I'd like to find a place to tent camp for a couple of nights, or at worst, further inland to where a drive to the Coast for a day of walking around on a beach is okay. That's not sounding like an option in Oregon though. Ultimately I'm looking for something similar to La Push or Shi Shi up in Washington: You go and get a cheap permit, first come/first serve on the beach, you pick a spot, you camp. I found a few places through Oregon State Parks and HOA, but they are long sold out. ![]() A National Forrest Ranger tells me no camping on the beach is permitted in Oregon on the coast.
